Since January, Lockheed Missiles & Fire Control united located in Orlando, Florida has garnered deals totaling over $500 million. The Lockheed unit employs about 4,000 people in the Orlando area and plays a large role in the local economy.

Lockheed continues to hire well-paid engineers and technicians locally; about 350 new hires are expected this year.
