ManTech has promoted Eric Eifert to senior vice president of its Cyber Defense Solutions business unit. Eifert joined the company in 2001 as a computer forensics engineer and made significant contributions that helped to establish a more advanced forensics and security research capability. Prior to joining ManTech, Eifert was a Special Agent and Computer Crime Investigator for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
The United States Military Academy Combating Terrorism Center’s new director is Major Bryan Price. Bryan, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences at West Point, is a former aviator and current FA59 strategist who has served in a variety of command and staff positions in operational assignments to include deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

CONTRACT WATCH
Commonwealth Technology has acquired Black Oak Technology Group, in an effort to beef up its cybersecurity capabilities. Financial terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed, but CTI specializes in technology vulnerability, computer network defense and software reverse-engineering, in addition to its specialized hardware and mission support services. This is CTI’s third acquisition in two years as it expands via mergers and acquisitions.
