DRS Laurel Technologies, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is awarded a $9,663,552 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract N00024-17-C-5201 to exercise an option for the production of Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Signal Data Processor-Sierra (SDP-S) equipment sets. CEC is a sensor netting system that significantly improves battle force Anti-Air Warfare capability by extracting and distributing sensor-derived information such that the superset of this data is available to all participating CEC units. CEC improves battle force effectiveness by improving overall situational awareness and by enabling longer range, cooperative, multiple, or layered engagement strategies. The SDP-S is an integral common component that supports the shipboard, airborne, and ground-mobile variants of the CEC equipment suite. AIR FORCE
The Boeing Co., Layton, Utah, has been awarded a $15,524,947 change order definitization/Responsible Engineering Authority for Flight Termination Receiver 2.0 (FTR 2.0). The Boeing Co. submitted a cost-plus-incentive-fee proposal to the government in response to change order FA8214-15-C-0001-P00049 for FTR 2.0. The objective of this proposed effort is to develop, qualify and deliver a FTR 2.0 that is fully compliant with range safety requirements and to characterize FTR 1.0 performance. FTR 2.0 units will be provided to support eight low-rate initial-production flight test kits and other units required for prototype, qualification, and acceptance testing. Work will be performed in Layton, Utah, and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2021. No funds are being obligated at time of award.
