L2 Defense Inc., a leading provider of training, engineering, and integrated logistics support for the military and first responders, was recently awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Department of Defense to support training and exercises for the U.S. Army North (ARNORTH) Civil Support Training Activity (CSTA). The single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a four-year ordering period with a $49.4 million ceiling value.
Under this contract, L2 Defense will assist with the coordination, management and execution of nationwide training and exercise events for the U.S. Army’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise. This support will help ensure the readiness of nearly 20,000 soldiers to respond to domestic chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosive (CBRNE) events, providing assistance to civil authorities at local, state, regional, and federal levels. Through this contract alone, L2 Defense will participate in more than 200 training events annually, delivering training to thousands of soldiers each year.
L2 Defense has been providing similar support to CSTA and other U.S. Army North divisions since early 2016.
