Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Orlando, Florida, was awarded a $531,737,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of 11 facilities within the flightline area of Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, including utilities, site improvements, pavements, detection/protection features, security enhancements and others. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed at Tyndall AFB, Florida, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 19, 2026. Fiscal 2019 and 2020 military construction, Air Force funds in the amount of $531,737,000 were obligated at the time of the award. The Morganti Group Inc., Danbury, Connecticut, was awarded a $14,696,615 firm-fixed-price contract to construct an air traffic control tower. Bids were solicited via the internet with 15 received. Work will be performed in Azraq, Jordan, with an estimated completion date of June 18, 2024. Fiscal 2019 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $14,696,615 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District, is the contracting activity (W912ER-22-C-0016).

Peter Vander Werff Construction Inc.,* El Cajon, California, was awarded a $13,397,000 firm-fixed-price contract to design and construct a stage processing facility at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Lompoc, California, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 30, 2024. Fiscal 2022 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $13,397,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles, California, is the contracting activity (W912PL-22-C-0014).

NAVY

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, is awarded a $272,672,545 firm-fixed-price, performance-based logistics requirements contract to provide logistics, repair, and upgrade support for 15 Multi-Spectral Targeting System Forward-Looking Infrared components in support of MH-60R and MH-60S helicopters. The contract will include a five-year base period with one two-year option period which if exercised, will bring the total estimated value to $376,414,525. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, Florida (70%); and McKinney, Texas (30%). Work is expected to be completed by May 2027; if the option is exercised, work is expected to be completed by May 2029. Working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $58,241,030 will be issued for delivery order N00383-22-F-0TH1 that will be awarded concurrently with the contract, and funds will not expire. One company was solicited for this non-competitive requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), with one offer received. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (N00383-22-D-TH01).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Palantir USG Inc., Palo Alto, California, was awarded a $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price modification (P00009) to previously awarded contract FA8806-21-C-0010 for a Data-as-a-Service Platform. The contract modification provides for the exercise of an option for additional term software licenses, cloud hosting, enablement services, support and training for each platform solution under the basic contract. Work will be performed in El Segundo, California; Palo Alto, California; Washington, D.C.; and New York, New York, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2022. Fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $16,895,000; and fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $2,000,000 are being obligated at the time of award. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $121,500,000. Space Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California, is the contracting activity.

J&J Asphalt Co., Rapid City, South Dakota, has been awarded a $9,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for paving services on Ellsworth Air Force Base and South Dakota Army National Guard sites in Rapid City, South Dakota. The work is expected to be completed by May 9, 2027. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and one offer was received. Fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $14,233 are being obligated at the time of award. The 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, South Dakota, is the contracting activity (FA4690-22-D-0004).
