This contract provides engineering, maintenance, logistics and material support to continue to develop, sustain and produce software builds, as well as carryout developmental flight tests in support of the F-35 Lightning II aircraft for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Foreign Military Sales customer, and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants’ funds. This contract also provides unique sea trials on aircraft carriers for the government of the United Kingdom. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (81%); Orlando, Florida (7%); Linthicum, Maryland (3%); Nashua, New Hampshire (3%); San Diego, California (2%); El Segundo, California (2%); Samlesbury, United Kingdom (1%); Toronto, Canada (0.10%); and various locations within the continental U.S. (0.90%), and is expected to be completed in March 2024. Fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation (Air Force) funds in the amount of $41,009,193; fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Air Force) funds in the amount of $40,103,104; fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $40,103,104; fiscal 2022 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $39,491,303; fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation (Air Force) funds in the amount of $1,934,724; and non-U.S. DOD participants funds in the amount of $41,085,051 will be obligated at the time of award, $80,206,208 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N0001922C0041).
Raytheon Missiles & Defense, Tucson, Arizona, is awarded a $102,699,507 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract N00024-18-C-5432. This option exercise is for Raytheon Missiles & Defense to manufacture and deliver the Over-the-Horizon Weapon System (OTH-WS), which consists of Encanistered Missiles loaded into launching mechanisms and a single Fire Control Suite. The OTH-WS provides long range anti-ship, over-the-horizon offensive anti-surface warfare capability to the fleet. The system consists of an operator interface console, naval strike missile, and the missile launching system. Work will be performed in Kongsberg, Norway (75%); Tucson, Arizona (15%); Schrobenhausen, Germany (4%); Raufoss, Norway (3%); McKinney, Texas (2%); and Louisville, Kentucky (1%), and is expected to be completed by May 2024. Fiscal 2022 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $50,139,984 (49%); fiscal 2022 procurement (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $47,257,547 (46%); fiscal 2022 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,655,232 (3%); and fiscal 2022 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,646,744 (2%), will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Techflow Mission Support LLC, Idaho Falls, Idaho, is awarded a $25,353,738 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity modification to previously issued contract N40085-10-D-0213. This modification provides for the exercise of Option 12 for base operating support services at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station New River, and other outlying areas in eastern North Carolina. The work to be performed provides for all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide facilities maintenance and heavy equipment repair services in support of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station New River, and other outlying areas in eastern North Carolina. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This option period is from June 1, 2022, to Jan. 31, 2023. After award of this option, the total cumulative contract value will be $319,853,020. No funds will be obligated at time of award. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $21,757,567 for recurring work will be obligated on individual task order issued during the option period. Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $9,796,528 fixed-price-incentive-firm modification (P00054) to a previously awarded contract (N0001918C1048). This modification adds scope to provide F-35 Joint Strike Fighter depot material lay-in, in support of air interceptor and panoramic cockpit display repair capabilities under low rate initial production Lot 11 for the Air Force, Navy, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, and non-U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) participants. Work will be performed in Alpharetta, Georgia (43.66%); Rochester, United Kingdom (37.21%); and Fort Worth, Texas (19.13%), and is expected to be completed in October 2023. Fiscal 2021 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $4,319,316; fiscal 2021 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,306,998; FMS funds in the amount of $1,199,056; and non-U.S. DOD participant funds in the amount of $1,971,158 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. CORRECTION: The contract modification (P00003) to previously awarded contract FA8509-20-F-0014, announced May 4, 2022, to Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nevada, for the MC-130J Airborne Mission Networking program low rate initial production, was actually awarded on May 13, 2022. Also, the modification value was inaccurately reported as $33,541,315; the correct value is $33,960,718.
