Air Force

SOS International Ltd., New York, N.Y., has been awarded an $84,030,376 firm-fixed-price contract to provide the government of Iraq with base operating support, base logistics support and security for Balad Air Base, Iraq. Work will be performed at Balad Air Base, Iraq, and is expected to be completed by August 2014. 100 percent of this contract is an unclassified foreign military sales requirement for the government of Iraq, and $41,160,000 has been obligated at time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/WWMK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8615-13-C-6019).

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc, Poway, Calif., has been awarded an $11,352,795 firm-fixed-price contract for engineering change proposal (ECP) to calendar year 2011 spares and support equipment. This contract action will purchase Initial Block 5 spares and support equipment in support of two Block 5 aircraft proposed as part of the fiscal 2011 aircraft procurement to support testing. Work will be performed at Poway, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 28, 2016. Fiscal 2011 procurement funds in the amount of $11,352,795 are being obligated at time of award. Air Force Lifecycle Management Center/WIIK, Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8620-10-G-3038 DO 0001-01).

Washington Headquarters Services

Georgia Technical Research Institute, Smyrna, Ga., is being awarded a $50,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (HQ0034-13-D-0010) to support Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy for policy development and legislative requirements. Digital Management Inc., Bethesda, Md., is being awarded a $7,924,196 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (HQ0034-11-D-0003), to provide infrastructure support services at the Mark Center. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va. The estimated completion date is Jan. 28, 2016. The contract was competitively procured with three proposals received. Army

Chavis’ Inc., Maxton, N.C. (W912HN-13-D-0019); Dunbar Mechanical Contractors, LLC., Memphis, Tenn. (W912HN-13-D-0020); Group III Mgmt Inc., Kinston, N.C. (W912HN-13-D-0021) and Haire Plumbing & Mechanical Company Inc., Fayetteville, N.C. (W912HN-13-D-0022); was awarded a firm-fixed-price, no option, multi-year, multiple award task order contract with a cumulative maximum value of $49,000,000 for utility monitoric control systems. Performance location and funding will be determined with each order. Bidding was solicited via the Web, with 14 bids received. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity.

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, Calif., was awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee, option-eligible, non-multi-year, contract modification (P00094) of $11,423,474.37 with a cumulative maximum value of $156,370,264 in exercise of its option for additional engineering services for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft systems program. Performance location will be at Poway, Calif., and funding will be from fiscal 2013 other funding. One bid solicited and one received. The US Army Contracting Command — Redstone Arsenal (Aviation), Redstone, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-09-C-0136).
