DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE CONTRACTS VALUED AT $6.5 MILLION AND ABOVE

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

TXU Energy Retail Company, LLC, Irving, Texas, has been awarded a maximum $53,280,484 firm-fixed-price, requirements type contract for electricity.  This contract was a competitive acquisition, and six offers were received.  This is a two-year base contract with no option period.  Location of performance is Texas with an April 30, 2017, performance completion date.  Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Air National Guard, and federal civilian agencies.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2015 service funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Energy, Fort Belvoir, Virginia (SPE600-15-D-8006).

ARMY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Florida, was awarded a $82,821,104 modification (P00023) to firm-fixed-price contract W58RGZ-12-C-0009 to exercise option year three performance based logistics program support for Apache Attack Helicopter modernized target designation sight/pilot night vision sensor equipment.  Fiscal 2015 other procurement funds in the amount of $82,821,104 were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is Dec. 31, 2015.  Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal (Aviation), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

Silicon Graphics Federal, Inc., Annapolis Junction, Maryland, was awarded a $30,750,000 modification (P0002) to firm-fixed-price contract W912DY-13-G-0025 to acquire commercially available high performance computing systems for the Department of Defense High Performance Computing Modernization Program in order to conduct complex calculations at the Air Force Research Laboratory – Department of Defense Supercomputing Resource Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Funding and work location will be determined with each order.  Estimated completion date is July 3, 2019.  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
Missouri Dept. of Conservation, Jefferson City, Missouri, was awarded a $9,000,000 firm-fixed price, sole source, indefinite-delivery contract for work with the Missouri River Recovery Program, which includes threatened and endangered species recovery on the Missouri River.  Funding and work location will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 8, 2019.  One bid was solicited with one received.  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, Omaha, Nebraska, is the contracting activity (W9128F-15-D-0013).

NAVY

EMCOR Government Services, Inc., Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a $32,889,626 modification under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N40080-07-D-0374) to exercise option four for regional base operating support services at various government facilities within a 100-mile radius of the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, District of Columbia.  The regional base operating support services include, but are not limited to: facility investment, building and structure maintenance, repair, alteration and minor construction including interior and exterior finishes, plumbing, electrical, structural, re-lamping, heating ventilation and air conditioning maintenance, janitorial services, and fire apparatus inspection, maintenance and testing . The total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $232,794,717.  Work will be performed in Washington, District of Columbia (50 percent); Bethesda, Maryland (44 percent); Quantico, Virginia (four percent); Indian Head, Maryland (one percent); and Dahlgren, Virginia (one percent), and work is expected to be completed Dec. 15, 2015.  Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy and Marine Corps); fiscal 2015 working capital funds (Defense); and 2015 Defense health program funds in the amount of $9,663,561 are being obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, Washington District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $31,828,753 requirements contract for contractor engineering and technical services (CETS) in support of the F-16 aircraft for foreign military sales requirements. Contractor will provide CETS personnel to elevate the skills and abilities of Air Force military and civilian personnel so they can become self-sufficient in systems maintenance. Work will be performed at multiple locations for Bahrain, Chile, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Taiwan and Turkey, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2017. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8604-15-D-7954).

Diversitech, Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio, has been awarded a $9,370,287 modification (P00013) to exercise the option on previously awarded contract FA8601-11-D-0001. Contractor will provide facility and equipment maintenance, repair and replacement activities in support of 88th Air Base Wing Civil Engineering Directorate and their customers. Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2015. No funds are obligated at the time of award. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds and research and development funds will be obligated on each delivery order issued. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $7,075,675   requirements contract for contractor engineering and technical services (CETS) for Air Force Materiel Command and National Guard Bureau in support of F-16 aircraft at various bases. Contractor will provide CETS personnel to elevate the skills and abilities of Air Force military and civilian personnel so they can become self-sufficient in systems maintenance. Work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Edwards Air Force Base, California; McEntire Joint National Guard Base, South Carolina; Tucson, Arizona; Toledo, Ohio; Lackland Air Force Base, Texas; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2014.  This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8604-15-D-7953).
