DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE CONTRACTS VALUED AT $6.5 MILLION AND ABOVE

ARMY

The Boeing Co., Mesa, Arizona, was awarded a $321,800,000 cost-plus-incentive-fee undefinitized contract to complete development of the base line Apache attack helicopter, and for the integration of modifications. Work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2018. Bids were solicited with one received. Fiscal 2015 research, development, testing, and evaluation funds in the amount of $51,460,139 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-15-C-0043).

Deloitte Consulting LLP, Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded a $7,443,792 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Army equipping enterprise systems services necessary to perform database management, software development, integration, and business process development. Work will be performed in Washington, District of Columbia, with an estimated completion date of June 14, 2020. Bids were solicited via the Internet with four received. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $7,443,792 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W91CRB-15-C-0023).

U.S. TRANSPORTATION COMMAND

Menlo Worldwide Government Services LLC, San Francisco, California, has been awarded a modification not-to-exceed $134,673,605 for an extension to the Defense Transportation Coordination Initiative contract (HTC711-07-D-0032) which provides freight transportation arrangement services. This is an indefinite-delivery requirements contract. Location of performance is throughout the continental U.S. and is expected to be completed by April 16, 2016. Fiscal 2015 Defense Working Capital Funds in the amount of $134,673,605 will be obligated at time of award. The U.S. Transportation Command Directorate of Acquisition, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Illinois, has been awarded a $105,291,836 modification (P00169) to the previously awarded contract FA8625-12-C-6598. Contractor will provide Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) equipment and support in the calendar year 2015 base hardware buy. Work will be performed at Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and is expected to be complete by April 29, 2017. The majority of the acquisition supports Air Force aircraft needs; however, this contract also acquires some foreign military sales LAIRCM acquisitions. Fiscal 2013, 2014 and 2015 aircraft procurement, National Guard, Navy and overseas contingency operations funds in the amount of $105,291,836 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
