DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE CONTRACTS VALUED AT $ 7 MILLION AND ABOVE

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

United Technologies Aerospace Systems, Windsor Locks, Connecticut, has been awarded a maximum $2,500,000,000 for aviation-related spare parts and related services. This was a sole-source acquisition, as authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, which states that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a five-year base contract with one five-year option period. The maximum dollar amount is for the life of the contract. Locations of performance are Connecticut, Ohio, California, North Carolina, Arizona, New York, Minnesota, Vermont and Iowa, with an April 30, 2028, performance completion date. Using military services are Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2018 through 2028 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Virginia (SPE4AX-18-D-9402).

Aero Precision Industries LLC, Livermore, California, has been awarded a maximum $24,163,000 for aviation-related spare parts and related services. This was a sole-source acquisition, as authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, which states that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a five-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is California, with a Feb. 15, 2023, performance completion date. Using military services are Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2018 through 2023 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Virginia (SPE4AX-18-D-9420).

AIR FORCE

AMEC Foster Wheeler Environment and Infrastructure Inc., Blue Bell, Pennsylvania (FA8903-18-D-0001); Stanley Consultants Inc., Muscatine, Iowa (FA8903-18-D-0011); HDR Engineering Inc., San Antonio, Texas (FA8903-18-D-0008); and Pond & Company, Norcross, Georgia (FA8903-18-D-0009), have been awarded a combined, not-to-exceed $49,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide architect-engineer services for Department of Defense Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricant facilities. Work will be performed in a variety of locations around the world, as determined by individual task orders. Work is expected to be complete by Feb. 28, 2023. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and 21 offers were received.  Thirteen total awards were made. Defense Logistics Agency working capital funds will be obligated on individual task orders. The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, is the contracting activity.

Blaine Warren Advertising LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada, has been awarded a $19,616,387 modification (P00001) to previously awarded contract FA6643-17-D-0001 for Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Recruiting Service advertising. This modification exercises option one under a requirements contract for all necessary management, supervision, labor, material, and equipment required to plan, create, design, produce, place, evaluate, and measure the effectiveness of advertising and special events in support of AFRC national, regional, and local recruiting marketing.  This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $38,448,525. Work will be performed in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2019. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. Headquarters AFRC, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.

 

CORRECTION:  The contract modification announced on Feb. 20, 2018, to Space Coast Launch Services LLC, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida (P00269), was announced with the incorrect modification number.  The correct modification number is P00270.  All other contract information is correct.

ARMY

BAE Systems Land & Armaments, San Jose, California, was awarded a $7,728,551 modification (P00062) to contract W56HZV-15-C-0099 for system technical services. Work will be performed in San Jose, California, with an estimated completion date of July 3, 2020. Fiscal 2017 and 2018 other procurement (Army) funds in the amount of $7,728,551 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

NAVY

General Electric Co., Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded $7,214,208 for modification P00005 to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-17-C-0047) to procure 24 engine devices for the Lot 21 F414-GE-400 engine buy for the Lot 41 F/A-18 aircraft production.  Work will be performed in Evendale, Ohio, and is expected to be completed in August 2018.  Fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $7,214,208 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

CORRECTION:  The contract awarded on Feb. 7, 2018, to Raytheon Co., El Segundo, California (N00019-15-G-0003),announced the incorrect contracting activity.  The correct contracting activity is Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey.  All other contract information is correct.
