In 2018, the average tuition at public state colleges hit $25,620. Add room, board and other fees, and the annual cost of earning your college mortarboard hit $60,000, or nearly a quarter of a million dollars over the usual four-year term of a college stint.

To put that in perspective, consider that it was cheaper to buy a house: just $200K. But, of course, without a college degree you might never win the top-notch job of your dreams, or that promotion you have been working towards – either of which might be essential to helping you buy that house.

So how do you win at this game? Come to work for ManTech. Our employees benefit from a radically different approach to earning the college degree.

It’s 100% tuition-free.

Why? Because at ManTech, we recognize that people are our greatest asset.

Our customers — agencies spanning the U.S. defense, intelligence, and federal civilian sectors — rely on our talent to accomplish their missions.

ManTech’s competitive advantage rests in large part on the skills of our employees – those men and women who come to work every day determined to serve their country by helping our customers execute their most sensitive missions.

To ensure that our people not only maintain but develop their skills, ManTech has partnered with Purdue University Global to provide Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Cyber, Cloud Computing and Information Technology online with 100% tuition covered. Plus, a data analytics degree is in the making.

Students in the BS Cloud Computing & Solutions program, for instance, receive deep training in cloud-specific certification capabilities of some of the world’s most prestigious cloud service providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google.

“As our customers pursue cloud-centric transformation and modernization, they can rely on ManTech people with proven expertise in cloud computing in cyber that takes digital to the tactical edge ensuring mission success, peak performance of new virtual systems, and end-to-end cybersecurity,” said Kevin M. Phillips, ManTech president and CEO.

Likewise, the Cybersecurity degree program provides a solid academic foundation that complements the work select employees are already doing for our intelligence community, defense customers and federal civilian agencies every day. Alternatively, the program can function as a platform for experienced professionals to gain that same academic foundation in a new field, such as a Systems Engineer pursuing a BS Cyber Security.

Mantech can help you earn Key Certifications

In addition to full degrees, ManTech’s partnership with Purdue University Global allows employees to pursue preparatory courses for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) certification exam and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification exam.

“Earning my CISSP helps me keep pace with the ever-changing cyber environment, it enhances my knowledge, and it keeps me compliant with Defense Department requirements,” says Shirley Harris, a Software Systems Administrator working on the Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE) program. She earned her certification after completing a sequence of CISSP courses with Purdue Global.

“With the need for more and better security around cyber increasing every day, earning this much sought-after certification helps keep me updated on the emerging threats and how to combat them,” she says.

Mantech and purdue global University offer degree programs with Flexible Scheduling

Purdue Global understands the needs of working adults, and ManTech-sponsored degree programs are designed with flexibility for participating employees in mind. Course registration opens at least four times per year, and all training in the relevant classes and certifications is online. In addition, military veterans and civilians can receive college credits for their related on-the-job experience and certifications.

Purdue Global also offers the innovative ExcelTrackTM program, allowing students to finish certain degree programs even faster through a self-directed platform.

As of March 1st, more than 120 ManTech employees had started full degree programs through Purdue Global, with more than twice that number enrolled in a CISSP/CEH or cloud certification preparation class.
