ClearanceJobs sat down with Casey Talley, the Recruiting Manager at Integral Consulting Services. Headquartered in Rockville, MD with offices in Charlottesville, VA and Edgewood (Aberdeen), MD, they serve clients throughout the United States and in several OCONUS locations. Their clients range from Department of Defense agencies, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to name a few.
Talley and I have worked the recruiting trenches together, even as far back as when I started my first government contracting job in Charlottesville supporting programs at the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). We discussed the state of current contracts, new contract awards, stop work orders, start dates, teleworking and the status of candidate communications.
Integral is still staffing and pumping out proposals through the crisis. Talley recommends to patient throughout this process, communicate with your recruiter or candidates even more, and hold tight as we work through to normalcy.
“I love how Integral is shining through these trying times, and recruiting is staying as busy as ever!” said Talley. “We are still executing and delivering proposals, new contracts are being awarded to us, and the vast majority of our programs are supporting our need to hire for current vacancies. Sure, there have been some challenges, ranging from apprehensive candidates (understandably!) to contract site restrictions, but it is really encouraging to know that candidates in the job market still have good opportunities for hire, amidst the current epidemic.”
