Anduril Industries Inc., Irvine, California, was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (H92402-22-D-0001) with a maximum ceiling of $967,599,957 for a counter-unmanned systems, systems integration partner (SIP). Fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,096,092 were obligated at time of the award. The work will be performed in various locations within and outside the continental U.S., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 19, 2032. This contract was competitively awarded under the authority of 10 U.S. Code § 2371b(a)(2)(B) for a follow-on production contract. NAVY
General Dynamics NASSCO-Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia, is awarded a $199,706,285 modification to exercise options on a previously awarded contract (N00024-22-C-4490) for the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) fiscal 2022 docking selected restricted availability. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by June 2023. Fiscal 2022 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $176,384,678 (88%) will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $23,321,607 (12%) will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Huntington-Ingalls Inc. – Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Virginia, is awarded a $77,922,540 fixed-price incentive (firm target) modification to previously awarded contract N00024-15-C-2114; and a $12,527,844 cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-09-C-2116 to definitize the incorporation of the CVN 79 warfare system. Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by June 2024. No contract funds are being obligated at this time. The Navy has transitioned CVN 79 from a two-phase to a single-phase delivery approach to meet both fleet requirements and a congressional mandate as codified in Section 124 of the Fiscal 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (Public Law 116-92). Detyens Shipyard Inc., North Charleston, South Carolina, was awarded an $18,218,202 firm-fixed-price contract (N32205R214212) for a 75-calendar day shipyard availability for the regular overhaul dry-docking on the dry cargo ammunition ship USNS Medgar Evers (T-AKE 13). Work will be performed in North Charleston, South Carolina, and is expected to commence March 1, 2022, and be completed May 14, 2022. Contract funds in the amount of $18,218,202 are obligated in fiscal 2022 working capital (Navy) funds. This contract was competitively procured with proposals solicited via the beta.sam.gov website and two offers were received. L3Harris Technologies Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a $27,132,724 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00088) to previously awarded contract FA8819-19-C-0002 for the Modularized Transitional Remote Tracking Station – Deployable effort under the Combat Mission Systems Support program. The contract modification provides telemetry tracking and commanding to space vehicles and improvements to the sustainment of the Satellite Control Network by providing better reliability, maintainability, and availability data, increasing maintenance data collection and will providing testing resiliency in support of the National Space Test and Training Complex. This modification exercises an option to extend the period of performance by one calendar year.
