The effort includes low-rate initial production, full-rate production, testing, spare parts, engineering services, logistics support, training and documentation. Work will be performed in Apopka, Florida, and is expected to be completed by February 2030. No funds will be obligated at time of award. Funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. The contract is a follow-on to the NGHTS Other Transaction Authority (OTA) Agreement prototyping effort, awarded in September 2018. Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding Division, Newport News, Virginia, was awarded an $188,908,033 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-15-C-4301) to continue performance of the repair, maintenance, upgrades, and modernization efforts on the USS Columbus (SSN 762) engineered overhaul. Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by December 2022. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $188,908,033 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, is awarded a $99,250,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. This contract provides products and support required to rapidly integrate and field VH-92A aircraft simulators and trainers in support of the Presidential Helicopter Program. The products include delivery of technical analysis, technical reports, trade studies, and retrofit kits for ground support equipment modifications that support deficiency resolution, capability/technology insertions, obsolescence redesigns, and reliability/sustainability improvements. The support includes program management, engineering, integrated logistics support, configuration management, system integration lab operation and maintenance, testing support, and Federal Aviation Administration certification activities. Work will be performed in Owego, New York (98%); and Stratford, Connecticut (2%), and is expected to be completed in February 2030. No funds will be obligated at the time of award; funds will be obligated on individual orders as they are issued. Gibbs & Cox Inc., Arlington, Virginia, is awarded a $29,561,327 cost-plus-award-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for supporting surface combatant ship design and engineering efforts for the Navy’s Future Surface Combatant Force, primarily in support of the DDG(X) program, as well as other emerging ship concepts, and to conduct feasibility studies as part of supporting the broader Navy fleet. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $318,742,913. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia (50%); and Washington, D.C. General Dynamics Mission Systems, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is awarded a $19,272,421 cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00001) to exercise options under a previously awarded contract (N0003022C1005) for fiscal 2022-2025 U.S. and United Kingdom Trident II (D-5) SSBN Fire Control System and SSGN Attack Weapon Control System support. The contract modification provides for urgent water treatment equipment and water treatment services at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH). All work will be performed in Hawaii and is expected to be completed by March 2022. This award brings the total cumulative value of the contract to $21,385,096. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2022.
