AIR FORCE
Howard University, Washington, D.C., will be awarded a $90,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for research and development. The contract will establish a Historically Black Colleges and Universities-led University Affiliated Research Center consortium to execute research focused on tactical autonomy that will aid in the transition of research into practical applications. Work will be performed at the awardee’s facility and consortium members’ campuses and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2028. This award is the result of a publicly posted broad agency announcement and four offers were received. Funds will be obligated on individual task orders placed against the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Fiscal 2023 research and development funds in the total amount of $2,967,271 are being obligated at time of award with the first task order. Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Liverpool, New York, was awarded an $84,938,768 modification (P00015) to previously awarded contract FA8730-21-C-0022 for Three-Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar (3DELRR) systems. This modification provides for the exercise of options for four 3DELRR radars, associated production management, travel and other direct costs, and data under the basic contract. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $182,981,058. Work will be performed in Liverpool, New York, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2025. Fiscal 2023 other procurement funds in the amount of $84,938,768 are being obligated at the time of award. L3Harris Technologies Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a $39,092,259 contract modification (P00155) to previously awarded contract FA8823-20-C-0004 for Maintenance of Space Situational Awareness Integrated Capabilities (MOSSAIC) sustainment services. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $582,538,259. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Dahlgren, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2024. This is a three-year base contract with two one-year option periods. The performance completion date is Jan. 18, 2026. Using military services are Army and Navy. NAVY
RQ-WM Jordan JV, Carlsbad, California, is awarded a $16,506,834 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract N40085-20-C-0059 for relocation of the logistics operations school at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The total cumulative value of the contract is $213,242,036. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by November 2025. Fiscal 2020 military construction (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $16,506,834 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract provides for the delivery of game-changing tools and methods to overcome known and emerging challenges and ensure continued Navy cyber superiority.
