ViaSat Inc., Carlsbad, Calif., is being awarded $21,665,911 for firm-fixed-price delivery order #0031 under a previously awarded multiple award contract (N00039-10-D-0032) for Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Low Volume Terminals (MIDS-LVTs). The MIDS-LVT provides secure, high capacity, jam resistant, digital data and voice communications capability for U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army platforms. This delivery order combines purchases for the U.S. (47 percent), Australia (22 percent), Oman (16 percent) and Thailand (15 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Carlsbad, Calif. (30 percent) and in various other locations worldwide (70 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2015. Fiscal 2012 and 2013 Research, Development, Test & Evaluation, Fiscal 2013 Aircraft Procurement Navy, and Fiscal 2013 Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy contract funds in the amount of $21,665,911 will be obligated at the time of award, of which $980,030 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Data Link Solutions, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded $11,405,804 for firm-fixed-price delivery order #0039 under previously awarded multiple award contract (N00039-10-D-0031) for Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Low Volume Terminals (MIDS-LVTs). The MIDS-LVT provides secure, high capacity, jam resistant, digital data and voice communications capability for Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Air Force and Army platforms. This delivery order combines purchases for the U.S. (71 percent), Poland (8 percent), Japan (8 percent), Australia (5 percent), UAE (5 percent) and Saudi Arabia (3 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Wayne, N.J. (50 percent), and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (50 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2015. Fiscal 2012 and 2013 Research, Development, Test & Evaluation, Fiscal 2013 Aircraft Procurement Navy, and Fiscal 2013 Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy contract funds in the amount of $11,405,804 will be obligated at the time of award, of which $894,200 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.
Aegis Technologies Group, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded an $8,900,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the fielding and sustainment of integrated moving target simulators, in support of program manager training systems. Work will be performed at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station, N.C. (50 percent), and Camp Pendleton, Calif. (50 percent), and work is expected to be completed by June 2014. Fiscal 2012 and 2013 Operations & Maintenance Overseas Contingency Operation contract funds in the amount of $8,900,000 will be obligated at the time of the award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with three offers received. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity. ERAPSCO, Columbia City, Ind., is being awarded a $7,229,916 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00421-11-C-0030) to exercise an option for the procurement of 9,400 AN/SSQ-53F Sonobuoys for the U.S. Navy. Work will be performed in Columbia City, Ind. (50 percent) and DeLeon Springs, Fla. (50 percent), and is expected to be completed in April 2015. Fiscal 2013 Other Procurement, Navy contract funds in the amount of $7,229,916 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
