Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded a $387,181,200 modification (P00333) to contract W58RGZ-12-C-0008 to exercise the option for 35 UH-60M helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2016. Voith Hydro Inc., York, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $47,671,169 firm-fixed-price, incrementally funded contract with options to install new turbines and rewind main generators #1 and #2. Bids were solicited via the Internet with three received. Work will be performed in Burbank, Washington, with an estimated completion date of March 16, 2020. Bids were solicited via the Internet with 10 received with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2020. Funding and work location will be determined with each order. NAVY
Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Indiana, is being awarded $47,515,467 for modification P00003 to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery, requirements contract (N00019-14-D-0016) to exercise an option to provide an estimated 37,015 flight hours of intermediate, depot-level maintenance, and related logistics support for approximately 223 in-service T-45 F405-RR-401 Adour engines. Work will be performed at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Meridian, Mississippi (47 percent); NAS Kingsville, Texas (46 percent); NAS Pensacola, Florida (6 percent); and NAS Patuxent River, Maryland (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2016. No funds will be obligated at time of award; funds will be obligated on individual delivery orders as they are issued. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
Sierra Nevada Corp., Rancho, California, is being awarded a $29,463,750 modification to a previously awarded, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00174-09-D-0003) to extend the ordering period and exercise option year five for the procurement and support of the transmitting set, countermeasures AN/PLT-5 to support explosive ordnance disposal personnel. The AN/PLT-5 is a man-portable system in support of the Joint Service Explosive Ordnance Disposal Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare program. Work will be performed in Rancho, California, and is expected to be completed by March 2017. No funds are being obligated at the time of this action. Purcell Construction Corp., Watertown, New York, is being awarded an $18,589,750 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a new multi-story Marine Corps bachelor enlisted quarters at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. The building will be constructed to satisfy all requirements of anti-terrorism and force protection. The contract also contains two unexercised options and three planned modifications which, if exercised, would increase the cumulative contract value to $25,328,970. Work will be performed in Yorktown, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by March 2018. Fiscal 2015 military construction (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $18,589,750 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 16 proposals received. U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND
Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa (H92241-16-D-0005), is being awarded a $41,285,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide non-recurring engineering and video processing module for the U.S. Special Operations Command Technology Applications Program Office. The majority of the work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by March 7, 2023. Fiscal 2015 procurement funds in the amount of $7,288,357 are being obligated at the time of award. Each individual task order will be funded with procurement appropriations under the appropriate fiscal year. This is a three-year base contract with two one-year option periods. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1).
