DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE CONTRACTS VALUED AT $7 MILLION AND ABOVE
NAVY
BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc., Hudson, New Hampshire, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $618,343,700 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II full-rate production Lots 5 through 7 in support of the Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, and governments of Iraq, Lebanon, Netherlands, Jordan, and Australia under the Foreign Military Sales program. This effort will include WGU-59/B units to upgrade the current 2.75-inch rocket system to a semi-active laser guided precision weapon. Work will be performed in Nashua, New Hampshire (70 percent); and Austin, Texas (30 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2018. Funds will not be obligated at time of award. Funding will be obligated on individual delivery orders as they are issued. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c) (1). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-17-D-5517).
ARMY
General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Michigan, was awarded a $508,709,732 firm-fixed-price contract for the upgrade of an estimated 215 Stryker flat bottom vehicles to the double-V hull engineering change proposal one configuration. The upgrades will restore mobility and ensure Stryker vehicles are able to accept future Army network components. Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2019. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-17-D-B020).
AIR FORCE
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $12,478,868 modification (P00383) to previously awarded contract F33657-97-L-2018 to construct a 34,300 sq. ft. F-35 acceptance test facility. Work will be performed at Fort Worth, Texas, with an expected completion date of May 21, 2018. No funds are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
Canadian Commercial Corp., Saint-Laurent, Canada, has been awarded a $7,081,709 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for integration and production of the control display units (CDU) replacement for the HH-60G aircraft. Contractor will provide produce, test and deliver 42 non-developmental CDUs that will have the same form, fit and function of the existing CDU being used on the HH-60G helicopter, including the software functionality of the current HH-60G CDU. Work will be performed at Saint-Laurent, Canada, and is expected to be complete by Nov. 30, 2018. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $7,081,709 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Material Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8552-16-C-0005).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Olgoonik Technical Services LLC, Anchorage, Alaska, has been awarded a maximum $10,656,349 modification (P000011) exercising the first one-year option period of a one-year base contract (SP3300-16-C-5001) with four one-year option periods for warehousing and distribution support services. This is a fixed-price-incentive (firm target) contract with cost reimbursement line items. Locations of performance are Alaska and California, with an Oct. 15, 2017 performance completion date. Using customer is Defense Logistics Agency. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
