NAVY
Trane U.S. Inc., La Crosse, Wisconsin, is being awarded $27,020,400 for firm-fixed-price task order N39430-17-F-1903 under a previously awarded multiple award contract (DE-AM36-90GO29044) for energy improvements at Naval Air Station Oceana. The work to be performed provides for the design and installation of the following energy conservation measures: interior and exterior building lighting improvements, roadway and parking lot lighting improvements, condenser water loop extension and controls, new chilled water plant, a new water well, and two ozone systems. The contractor will also provide performance period services consisting of measurement and verification, operations and maintenance, and repair and replacement services. Work will be performed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by January 2042. No funds will be obligated with this award. The Energy Policy Act of 1992 authorizes agencies to use private financing to fulfill its requirements for energy savings performance contracts for project implementation. For this project, Naval Air Station Oceana has agreed to pay for the costs of services/construction from project financing which will be obtained by Trane U.S. Inc. G-W Management Services LLC, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded a $9,668,364 firm-fixed-price contract for the design and the construction of the ammunition supply point expansion at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The work to be performed provides for the design and construction of a new ammunition issue and segregation building and the associated site work. The project also includes the demolition of one existing high explosive concrete magazine that has reached the end of its useful life. The contract also contains one unexercised option, which if exercised would increase cumulative contract value to $9,689,364. Work will be performed in Quantico, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by February 2018. Fiscal 2015 military construction (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $9,668,364 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website with four proposals received. Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Connecticut, is being awarded a $7,085,057 cost-plus fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-15-C-4305) to exercise options for routine operation and maintenance of the government furnished USS Shippingport (ARDM-4), auxiliary repair dry dock medium. This option includes work to protect, preserve, operate, and maintain certification of the floating dry dock, USS Shippingport (ARDM-4), as well as organizational level repairs. The work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by October 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,226,269 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. AIR FORCE
BAE Systems, Rockville, Maryland, has been awarded an $8,142,655 option (P00006) to previously awarded contract FA8109-15-D-0001 for support of the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) program. Contractor will provide an additional quantity of new data loads and maintenance of previous data loads of the enterprise-wide DMSMS predictive tool. This includes determination of the present and future state of program managed systems’ bill of material, identified items status, and life cycle procurement efforts. Work will be performed at Rockville, Maryland, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 18, 2017. No funds are being obligated at the time of award.
