Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 10, 2020. SWF Contractors,* Omaha, Nebraska (W9126G-18-D-0010); Gideon Contracting LLC,* San Antonio, Texas (W9126G-18-D-0011 ); and Martin Brother,* Sacramento, California (W9126G-18-D-0012), will share in a $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for horizontal construction, mainly in support of Border Patrol Infrastructure in the El Centro and San Diego Border Patrol Sectors, HUBZone Pool. Bids were solicited via the Internet with 29 received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 6, 2022. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth, Texas, is the contracting activity.
The Rand Corp., Santa Monica, California, has been awarded a $21,281,475 modification (0020) to contract W91CRB-15-D-0022 for 35 individual research studies on matters of strategic importance to the Army. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 30, 2019. Fiscal 2018 research, development, test and engineering funds in the amount of $8,000,000, were obligated at the time of the award. Salmon Group Inc., Washington, District of Columbia (HQ0034-18-D-0001); Dynamo Technologies LLC, McLean, Virginia (HQ0034-18-D-0002); American Staffing Partner Inc., Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (HQ0034-18-D-0003); and One Federal Solution Corp., Alexandria, Virginia (HQ0034-18-D-0004), have been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a maximum amount of $45,000,000. The contract is to provide enterprise-wide administrative support services to assist the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Work performance will take place in Arlington, Virginia; and Alexandria, Virginia. No funds will be obligated at the award of the basic contract. Appropriate fiscal year operations and maintenance funds will be obligated on all subsequent task orders. The expected completion date is Oct. 30, 2022. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c) (1). This is a one-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Maryland, with a Nov. 2, 2018, performance completion date. Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2018 through fiscal 2019 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE2DP-18-D-0002).
The Boeing Co., Mesa, Arizona, has been awarded a maximum $8,473,500 firm-fixed-price delivery order (ZB66) against a five-year base contract (SPE4A1-14-G-0007) for pitch link assemblies. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(2) from Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-2, which states unusual and compelling urgency, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a one-time buy with no option periods. Location of performance is Arizona, with a Feb. 28, 2022, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2018 Army working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
