KBR has revealed Trinzic as the name of the independent public company that will be created through the planned spin-off of its Mission Technology Solutions business. The separation remains on track for January 2027, pending customary approvals, with Trinzic expected to focus on national security, defense, intelligence, and space missions while KBR continues operating its Sustainable Technology Solutions business under the KBR name.
Alongside the new name, KBR unveiled Trinzic’s branding, logo, and tagline, “The Bold. Connected.” The company says the new identity reflects its mission-focused heritage and future strategy as a standalone business. KBR also reaffirmed that Michael LaRouche will serve as Trinzic’s President and CEO and Nicholas Veasey as CFO when the spin-off is completed.
Contract Opportunities: Esri
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has awarded Esri a $37.1 million sole-source task order to build a new enterprise geographic information system (GIS) platform that will modernize how the agency manages and delivers geospatial intelligence. Over the next 12 months, Esri will develop a platform-as-a-service built around its ArcGIS technology, allowing NGA to consolidate multiple GIS tools into a single environment capable of supporting both Esri and third-party applications.
The award continues Esri’s long-standing relationship with NGA, where its ArcGIS platform serves as a core technology for delivering geospatial intelligence to military leaders, policymakers, and other government users. NGA said the contract was awarded on a sole-source basis because Esri is the only vendor capable of providing the specialized capabilities required, building on previous contracts that include a $56.2 million task order in 2024 and a software enterprise agreement awarded in late 2025.
