Few people ever want to find a “bill” in the mail as that usually means an outflow of money, but there is another bill – a military benefit – that provides educational assistance to those who have served their country. This is the GI Bill, which was first signed into law during World War II, and more recently updated in 2008 to provide educational assistance to those who served three years on active duty since September 11, 2001. The post-9/11 GI Bill provisions went into effect on August 1, 2009. See if you can pass the test on how well you know the post-9/11 GI Bill.
