The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) is critical to the defense and security of the U.S. This year, the NGA director was asked to participate in its first Senate threat assessment hearing. SSCI Chairman Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina has a high vision for NGA within the Intelligence Community (IC), noting that “Given the complexity of the intelligence questions the IC is being confronted with and the global nature of our national security threats that this country faces — expectations of NGA are high. We know the IC can’t be everywhere at once, but that’s still kind of what we look to the NGA to do.” Given the high importance of the NGA, it’s a good time to test your knowledge of the agency!
