MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

Lockheed Martin Corp. – Space Systems Co., King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, has been awarded a $7,206,551 modification (P00001) to a previously awarded contract (FA8823-17-C-0003) for meteorological data station AN/UMQ-13 (MARK IV-B) system sustainment.  Work will be performed in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with an expected completion date of Oct. 31, 2018.  Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $3,030,000; and spectrum relocation special funds in the amount of $649,019 are being obligated at the time of the award. NAVY

General Dynamics Information Technology Inc., Fairfax, Virginia, was awarded $50,000,000 for modification P00020 to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (W15QKN-15-D-0001) to exercise an option for logistics support for multiple foreign military sales customers in support of the Logistics Management Integration Department (AIR-6.6).  Work will be performed at various locations within and outside the continental U.S., and is expected to be completed in October 2023.  No funds will be obligated at time of award.  Funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $33,538,400 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-17-C-5145) to exercise options for total ship activation engineering; hull, mechanical and electrical activation; DDG 1000 class integrated logistics support and associated other direct costs to support the exercised options.  Work will be performed in Bath, Maine (40 percent); Portsmouth, Rhode Island (28 percent); San Diego, California (19 percent); Tewksbury, Massachusetts (11 percent); Marlboro, Massachusetts (1 percent); and Nashua, New Hampshire (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2018.  Fiscal 2017 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) in the amount of $3,429,226 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

United Technologies Corp., Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $19,266,207 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee and fixed-price-incentive-firm-target contract (N00019-15-C-0004).  This modification provides for procurement of extra-long-lead items in support of the low-rate initial production Lot XII F-35 Lightning II joint strike fighter aircraft production.  The extra-long-lead items include group hardware supporting the Lot XII delivery of conventional take-off and landing propulsion systems for the Air Force, Navy, non-Department of Defense (non-DoD) participants, and foreign military sales (FMS) customers, as well as group hardware supporting the Lot XII delivery of short take-off and vertical landing propulsion systems for the Marine Corps.  Work will be performed in East Hartford, Connecticut (67 percent); Indianapolis, Indiana (26.5 percent); and Bristol, United Kingdom (6.5 percent), and is expected to be completed in November 2019.  Fiscal 2017 aircraft procurement (Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps), non-DoD participant, and FMS funds in the amount of $19,266,207, are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract combines purchases for the Marine Corps ($16,961,563; 88.04 percent); non-DoD participants ($1,899,178; 9.86 percent); Air Force ($287,205; 1.49 percent); FMS ($78,841; 0.41 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program; and Navy ($39,420; 0.20 percent).  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. – Marine Systems, Sunnyvale, California, was awarded $10,779,692 for modification P00012 to a previously awarded cost-plus incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00030-16-C-0015) to provide support for technical engineering services, design and development engineering, component and full scale test and evaluation engineering, and tactical underwater launcher hardware production to support the development and production of the common missile compartment.  Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, California (55 percent); Ridgecrest, California (20 percent); Cape Canaveral, Florida (10 percent); Bangor, Washington (5 percent); Kings Bay, Georgia (5 percent); Barrow-In-Furness, England (2 percent); New London, Connecticut (1 percent); Quonset Point, Rhode Island (1 percent); and Arlington, Virginia (1 percent), and work is expected to be completed September 2020.  Fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $8,000,000; United Kingdom funding in the amount of $2,164,692, and fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $615,000 are being obligated on this award and funds in the amount of $615,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.  (Awarded Oct. 30, 2017)

Sealift Inc., Oyster Bay, New York, is being awarded a $9,490,000 modification under a previously awarded contract (N32205-17-C-3510) to exercised option one to charter U.S. flagged vessel M/V Bernard F. Fisher for prepositioning and transportation of cargo for the Air Force.  The vessel is employed in worldwide trade for the transportation and prepositioning of cargo (including, but not limited to, hazardous cargoes, explosives, ammunition, vehicular, containerized, and general cargoes); and for military readiness, in accordance with the terms of this charter.  Work for this option period will be performed at sea worldwide, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 5, 2018.  Working capital funds in the amount of $8,554,000 are being obligated at the time of award.  Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
