DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE CONTRACTS VALUED AT $7 MILLION AND ABOVE

ARMY

Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Co., Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded a $193,850,000 firm-fixed-price foreign military sales (Saudi Arabia) contract for eight Saudi Arabian National Guard and nine Royal Saudi Land Forces Airborne Special Security Forces unique UH-60M aircraft. One bid was solicited with one bid received. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2022. Fiscal 2018 foreign military sales funds in the amount of $11,163,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-18-C-0017).

CECOS Group,* Milford, Ohio, was awarded an $8,559,738 firm-fixed-price contract for jacketed and non-jacketed pile, deck and miscellaneous repairs for the South Wharf at Military Operations Terminal Sunny Point, Brunswick County, North Carolina. Bids were solicited via the Internet with four received. Work will be performed in Southport, North Carolina, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 27, 2022. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $8,559,738 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington, North Carolina, is the contracting activity (W912PM-18-C-0004).

Industries for the Blind Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was awarded an $8,198,956 firm-fixed-price contract for an estimated quantity of 28,081 evidence collection and detainee processing kits. One bid was solicited with one bid received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 11, 2023. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-18-D-0009).

AIR FORCE

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Georgia, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $118,281,011 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract FA8106-13-D-0002 to exercise option year five to support the C-20 and C-37 fleet for the Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard, and to fund the uninterrupted continuation of contractor logistics support services.  Work will be performed in Savannah, Georgia; Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy; Ramstein Air Base, Germany; Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland; Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii; Marine Corps Base, Hawaii; MacDill Air Force Base, Florida; and Reagan National Airport, Virginia, with an expected completion date of Aug. 31, 2018.  Fiscal 2018 Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $38,429,882 are being obligated at the time of the award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

American Apparel Inc.,* Selma, Alabama, has been awarded a maximum $71,056,800 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Army combat uniform coats. This is a one-year base contract with four one-year option periods. Maximum dollar amount is for the life of the contract. This was a competitive acquisition with 13 responses received. Location of performance is Alabama, with a Jan. 10, 2023, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2018 through 2023 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE1C1-18-D-1020).

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Systems & Technology Research LLC,* Woburn, Massachusetts, has been awarded a $10,569,653 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for a research project for undersea sensing systems. Fiscal 2017 and 2018 research and development funds in the amount of $3,216,772 are being obligated at the time of award. Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut (45 percent); Arlington, Virginia (36 percent); North Falmouth, Massachusetts (10 percent); Reston, Virginia (5 percent); McLeansville, North Carolina (3 percent); and Columbia, Maryland (1 percent). The contract has an estimated completion date of August 2019. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (HR001118C0004).

NAVY

Clayton International Inc.,* Peachtree City, Georgia, is being awarded a $7,685,795 firm-fixed-price contract to provide depot level maintenance for one AS-61 Helicopter in support of the government of Egypt.  Work will be performed in Peachtree City, Georgia, and is expected to be completed in March 2019.  Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $7,685,795 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00421-18-C-0012).
