Immersive environments are simulated experiences that mimic reality to teach complex tasks. You can practice language skills by exploring a foreign restaurant, rehearse your response to cyber threats on an operations floor, and even learn how to fly a plane.
“One of our goals is to train pilots safely and quickly,” says Steve Wright, who leads our Air Force contract in San Antonio. “That’s where augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) come into play. Instead of watching a slide deck or visualizing a flight maneuver, you don VR goggles and experience it.”
From digital arts to production for VR platforms, the Booz Allen team is focused on every aspect of the industry and growing exponentially. Our integrated approach will drive decisions for our resilient installations.”

Jay Stowell, a lead technologist on the cyber team, has applied his work experience to further his professional certifications. “I passed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional exam, one of the most difficult cybersecurity certifications to achieve,” he says. “Experience is key for the exam, and thanks to the expertise I’ve gained working at Booz Allen, I was able to achieve this major professional development milestone.”
