KPMG will be hosting a Veteran and Transitioning Military Virtual Career Fair September 30 from 1-4 PM ET. Interested vets and transitioning service members can register here.

KPMG is looking to fill positions in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Forensic Technology, Enterprise Solutions, Financial Risk Management, Information Protection and Business Resilience, IT Advisory and more.

KPMG is committed to helping veterans and transitioning military in their search for finding the right career opportunity for them. KPMG founded the KPMG Veterans Network in 2010. The Network’s mission is to actively support KPMG’s employees who have served our nation’s military, and to help recruit veterans who want to build a career at KPMG. The Network provides members with opportunities for professional development, mentoring, networking, and community service.

If you’re new to virtual career fairs, here are a few tips to help you be successful at the KPMG event:

  1. Check your technology in advance. Log into your computer 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the event, and check your audio and notification settings.
  2. Cut distractions. Just like an in-person career fair, you want to be ‘on’ for the duration of the event.
  3. Keep your communication professional. At the KPMG Virtual Career fair you’ll participate in one-on-one chats with recruiters. Grammar and spelling apply! Avoid all-caps or a tone that is too casual.
  4. Be willing to let your personality shine by asking relevant and interesting questions about the specific positions and career track you’re interested in. Avoid asking questions you could find the answers to on the company’s website as chats are timed.

Veterans and Transitioning Military looking for a dynamic and challenging work environment will find it at KPMG. They’ll also be a part of a team of high-performing, adaptable, energetic professionals. And they’ll experience a work-life balance and flexibility that helps them stay connected to family and friends.

Don’t forget to register for the September 30 hiring event here.
