1. Intelligence Analyst Resume Sample

My personal favorite. You enjoy converting raw information into mission essential reports used to conceptualize within the U.S. and foreign nations. You analyze complicated situations and have an aptitude for identifying intelligence gaps, assessing all of this information from multiple sources, evaluating trends and interpreting all of these entities. The intelligence analysis umbrella includes a variety of disciplines and necessary skills.

Every military branch has their own intelligence analyst Military Occupational Specialty (or counterpart), and these individuals make up a huge part of the national security apparatus following their military service.

2. Cyber Security Resume Sample

3. Program Manager Resume Sample

Every team needs their fearless leader. And every government project needs that catalyst to keep things moving forward. Coming in at #3 is our Program Manager resume template.

How do you translate your skills from very specific programs to work across multiple job applications? How do you transition from working in the programming trenches, to leading a technical program for a DoD customer?

This resume template can help, especially if you need to translate your skills gained from active duty and into your contracting career.

4. Administrative Specialist Resume Sample

Administrative personnel are very important cogs in the national security wheel. While it might not be the most glamorous of roles, it’s actually how I got my start in the DoD and is an excellent way to get your foot in the door, get to know an agency, or network with future employers.

For younger generations, it also serves as a chance to see what you may like in the business world. Administrative specialists can where multiple hats, support several departments, and get a feel for what they enjoy in defense and want to pursue.

It’s no secret why this profession came in at #4 on our resume list.

5. Logistics Support Specialist Security Resume Sample

As the nation’s combat logistics agency, the Defense Logistics Agency manages the global supply chain from raw materials to end user to disposition for the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, 10 combatant commands, and other federal agencies. Headquartered at Fort Belvoir, VA, DLA is a worldwide operation. Wherever we have a military presence, the DLA is there to assist.

With 2,695,457 military and civilian personnel working across the US, the DLA supplies 86% of the military’s spare parts, and nearly 100% of fuel. They also supply almost every consumable item the US military needs such as food, clothing, protective gear, medical supplies, and construction materials.

But, other agencies require logistics personnel themselves, as well. Logistics opportunities are far and wide across the US within the DoD.
